September 27, 2017 – Esquire Singapore shone brightly at last night’s Media Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS) Media Ball and Awards ceremony held at the Fullerton Hotel winning the most awards for a single title.

Taking home a total of 9 gongs including “Men’s Media of the Year” in the Media Award category and scooped four trophies in the Media Talent & Personality Awards including “Writer of the Year” for Wayne Cheong, “Advertising Sales Professional of the Year” for Nicholas Ng, “Marketing Professional of the Year” for Eugene Azucena and “Photographer of the Year” for Ronald Leong.

In the Special Awards category, Esquire clinched an unprecedented Gold and Bronze award for “Special Edition Of The Year” for The Home issue--which also earned a Silver award for “Front Cover of the Year”--and The 50th issue, respectively.

Finally, Head Writer Wayne Cheong added another trophy to his cabinet with the Silver award for “Feature of the Year”. The insightful and revealing profile story on Colin Schooling, the father of Singapore’s first Olympic gold medallist, remains as the most-read story on Esquire’s website.
