30 April 2012, Kuala Lumpur:
Esquire Malaysia, published by Mongoose Publishing, was voted as the Best Men’s Fashion Magazine in Malaysia for 2011-2012 by advertisers, clients and agencies in the recent annual A+M Magazine of the Year Award’s issue. Beating out fashion titles Men’s Uno, Men’s Folio and August Man, the achievement is all the more impressive being that this is Esquire Malaysia’s first year. “It was terrific to be acknowledged for our efforts to bring something new and fresh to the men’s fashion category. We hire the best photographers, stylists and fashion writers and really try to communicate the full beauty of luxury and high street men’s brands,” says Esquire editor-in-chief Sam Coleman.

Additionally to its fashion and style efforts in the magazine, Esquire Malaysia was a driver in Malaysia men’s fashion with its Best Dressed Man Malaysia competition that was a resounding success as well as its Living Legends of Men’s Fashion exhibit in KLCC.

The magazine rankings were derived from questions in Boardroom Research’s annual magazine ranking survey using an online questionnaire. The survey reached out to advertisers from major local and international banks, FMCG companies, property, construction, IT, telecommunication and travel and tourism companies along with agency professionals from across the marketing service spectrum.

“Everyone at mongoose is extremely proud that Esquire Malaysia has won a prestigious industry award. Esquire treats its reader as men and women of intellect and great social awareness and that is why it has revolutionised the way men are viewed in this country. It’s a fantastic team who works extremely hard and richly deserves this triumph. The secret of their success as with all Mongoose titles is putting the reader first,” states Matt Bellotti, Editorial Director, Mongoose Publishing.
