Singapore, 9 May, 2014 – Mongoose Publishing took home 15 awards at the prestigious annual MPAS Industry Awards dinner held on 8 May 2014.

As a result of this haul, a record for the two-year-old company, Mongoose was named "Media Publishing Company of the Year".

Mongoose publish Esquire Singapore and Time Out Singapore, two titles familiar to Singaporeans for their high quality, independent editorial and world-class design that has been richly rewarded around the world.

Successes came for "Journalist of the Year" for Wayne Cheong; "Men’s Media of the Year"; "Lifestyle/Fashion/Entertainment Media of the Year"; "Front Cover of the Year" (The Birthright Issue - August 2013); "Feature Article of the Year (Flash Trade - September 2013)"; "Special Edition of the Year (The Birthright Issue - August 2013)"; "Video/Photography/Illustration of the Year (Yam Seng - September 2013); as well as "Photography/Illustration of the Year (Common Threads - July 2013)".

There were an additional three Merit awards, recognising further the high quality of the Singapore edition of the legendary men’s magazine that promises to showcase ‘Man At His Best’.

These Merit awards were given in the categories "Photography/Illustration of the Year (Happy Together - February 2013); "Video/Photography/Illustration of the Year (All Dressed Up - Best Dressed Real Man 2013)"; and "Social Media Campaign of the Year (Best Dressed Real Man 2013)".

Launched in the country in September 2012, Esquire Singapore will celebrate its second anniversary in September 2014. The Singapore edition has successfully continued the flagship’s tradition of outstanding editorial quality, by featuring the magazine’s customary authoritative conversation on a wide range of topics including fashion, gadgets, travel, politics and the arts.

With continued local consumer support, the brand has made its mark across multiple platforms in a highly competitive market. Also featuring an interactive website and a healthy social media following, the title has executed a myriad of brand activations for clients while enjoying impressive organic growth in the local market.

Time Out Singapore came away with three honours including Wins for "Integrated Media Brand of the Year" and "Social Media Campaign of the Year (Treasure Hunt)" and a Merit award for "Website of the Year".

Launched in Singapore in March 2007, Time Out Singapore’s website and monthly magazine quickly established themselves as the island’s leading guide to food and drink, shopping and style, and arts and entertainment for English-speaking residents in Singapore.

Nearly a million views a month are registered on www.timeoutsingapore.com, making it a definitive resource for arts, events and entertainment. A vibrant social media following has further kept the brand at the forefront of the conversation about what to do and see in Singapore.
